Hi yesterday on sunday 8 november i finally went out of home (where i stayed lately not because of the flue but because of feet hurt dur to fall in a hall in the streets, very bad streets sometimes here, terrible!!!)
So i went to the center of the city, Krichyatyk and Maiden independance square to ask people if they wanted some masks, and also if not, why… and i was quite surprise to see the amount of people who actually do not believe ther eis danger in Kiev and who actually do not care to wear a mask or not…Some people still wanted masks, and on the 100 masks i had today i only have 20 left after 48 hours of distribution…

As you can see , it was NO PANIC at all and often people were in a very funny attitude… So i do not know what they show in the internaitonal medias in rusia and usa, but here in the center of Kiev people are not afraid and do not panic…
As for today it is still possible ot go out of Ukraine, and to asnwer some people who told me in that in Rusia thae said borders were closed, i can say that at the moment on ly there are restrictions on the west of Ukriane at the Slovakia border:
“Today the borders that link Slovakia to Ukraine will be closing down to stop the spread of the h1n1 epidemic, it is still not clear whether this is the h1n1 or pneumonic plague. So it is not a glboal quarantain that woudl prevent people to go out of the country.. it is just a really strong control on the Slovak border!!!

ok. but in the streets of Kiev you see NO FEAR AND NO PANIC…
According to the authorities today, the virus would be decreasing since the number of people affected every day is decreasing…
Still they talk about total, almost one million touched by the epidemy since mid october, (969.000) , almost 49.000 were in hospital, and 155 died, said a précisé M. Lazorychynets , assistant health minister of Ukraine.
So, is it the reason why the panic is not in KIEV? already we hear about a scond wawe for mid winter and a third one in february…. we will see… and i will be there to report the reality of Kiev streets;)!!!
